A convicted sex offender was arrested early Thursday morning on the McKinleyville High School campus after he allegedly exposed himself on the football field, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
A Fortuna Union High School English teacher was charged Wednesday by the Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office for allegedly having sexual relations with a 17-year-old student.
The Humboldt County District Attorney’s Office confirmed Tuesday it has received a report from the Fortuna Police Department alleging Deirdre Peterson, a Fortuna High School teacher, had sex with one of her underage students.
The Fortuna Police Department is investigating allegations that a Fortuna High School teacher had sex with one of her underage students. ”No arrest has been made,” Fortuna Police Chief Kris Kitna said Monday.
