Radio Business Report
Patrick Cleary’s Lost Coast Communications Inc. is preparing to add a fourth California station to its portfolio, according to brokerage Kalil & Co., with an agreement to acquire KXGO-FM Eureka CA in hand. The seller is Redwood Broadcasting Company Inc., headed by Pattison Christensen. It retains one other FM station in the northern coastal California area, which is where Eureka is located.
[Editor's Note: Patrick Cleary announced his candidacy for Humboldt County's Fifth District Supervisor seat earlier this month. Will be interesting to see if the deal clears the FCC prior to the election.]
