The 2009 Humboldt County Fair in Ferndale will receive a “face-lift” for its 113th season of horse racing this August, and fortunately, where talking about purses more than cosmetics. Cloned mules racing, sheep dog trials, carnival rides and games, death defying stunts, live entertainment, competitive and interesting exhibits, live and satellite horse racing, plenty of livestock events, great fair-time foods, special programs, and the old-fashioned fun of a county-wide “family” reunion.
