Eureka Police Department officers arrested a third suspect in the recent McKinleyville home invasion at a suspected indoor pot growing operation that left one man shot.

More than two years after Martin Frederick Cotton’s death brought a string of angry protesters into Eureka City Council chambers calling for a system of police review, the subject is resurfacing tonight, albeit very quietly.

The Eureka Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Christine Walters, a 23-year-old woman who has not been heard from in over a week. According to EPD information, Walters has strawberry-blond hair and blue eyes.
