Eureka, California is the capital of Humboldt County, situated approximately 250 miles North of San Francisco on the Northern California coast.

A Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested two people early Monday morning after finding drugs and a handgun inside their vehicle during a routine traffic stop in Fortuna.
