District employees demonstrate for schools

Humboldt HAbout 100 Willits Unified School District employees gathered beneath the Willits Arch on Thursday in a demonstration to try and “save public education.”
Teachers, bus drivers, custodians, district office secretaries and students joined school principals and three members of the district’s board of trustees holding signs along Main Street.

Rodoni Announces Run For Humboldt County Assessor

Johanna Rodoni for Humboldt County Assessor 2010The Johanna Rodoni for Assessor 2010 Campaign announced today that Johanna has officially filed as a candidate for Humboldt County Assessor and took the Candidate’s Oath.

“My decision to run for the office of County Assessor is based on my long-standing interest in making government efficient and responsive to the needs of the people,” said Rodoni.

“As Director of the Buckeye Conservancy, Johanna Rodoni demonstrated a comprehensive understanding of the appraisal process and review capabilities. She is clearly capable of the administrative skills required for the elected position of Humboldt County Assessor,” stated Robert H. Shaw, MAI Licensed Appraiser.
