Gallegos gets no love from SoCal blogger
Blogger Matthew Cunningham, writing for Red Country (“The place for state and local conservative politics”) warns that Humboldt County District Attorney Paul Gallegos is “politically unbalanced” and should be tagged and tracked so fellow Republicans can be “for-armed in the future.”
Cunningham lives in Orange County and is clearly new to Humboldt County issues. He tells of Paul’s poor handling of the “PLACO” (sic) case, and claims the DA is drafting a marijuana ordinance “this year” to allow cultivation of 99 plants for medical pot users. Cunningham’s own link notes the ordinance was adopted in 2003.
But Gallegos foes will find plenty to crow about in the piece — even as they decry Southern California influence in local politics.
