Jefferson School purchase approved
The Eureka City Council voted unanimously to move ahead with the purchase of the Jefferson School property at Tuesday’s meeting. The vote was followed by applause from supporters of the purchase, who turned out in force — again — to urge the city to approve the purchase.
Councilman Frank Jager said the city owed it to the citizens of the West side to approve the purchase.
