No on Measure “N”
The Humboldt County Elections office has assigned letters to three ballot measures for Eureka’s general election in November.
The Balloon Track measure, which asks voters if land use zoning on that polluted parcel should be changed to reflect the “Marina Center” big box mall’s Environmental Impact Report is stuck with the letter “N” — as in No Way, Jose.
The measure to increase the Transaction and Use Tax (TUT) by .5% will be known as Measure O.
The third measure, which would make changes to the city’s charter, will be known as Measure P.
