Humboldt County Sheriff’s Detectives arrested a man in connection with the Easter Sunday home invasion robbery in McKinleyville. Isaac Metheney, 26 of Eureka, was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility yesterday afternoon after being extradited from Oregon. Metheney is suspected of participating in the robbery on Harden Drive during which the victim fired a weapon at the suspects as they drove away. One person inside the vehicle (not Metheney) was injured. Yesterday Metheney was booked for robbery and robbery of an inhabited dwelling. Additionally, Metheney had an outstanding warrant for which he was booked. The charges on the warrant included vehicle theft, domestic violence, resisting or obstructing a peace officer, and a probation violation. His bail has been set at $100,000 and he is expected to be arraigned by Friday.
