Eureka Woman Dies in Highway 101 Crash
A Eureka woman died Tuesday night, hours after her van collided with a truck as she tried to drive across Highway 101 in southern Petaluma, the CHP reported Wednesday. Blackout Backtrack: PG&E Fine-Tunes Outage Plans
Arcata Eye – Responding to concerns about economic and public safety impacts expressed by Arcata business and government, PG&E has modified its plans for this weekend’s planned power outage. Arcata Panhandling Ordinance OK’d (Updated, With Correction)
Arcata Eye – In the four-to-one vote on Wednesday the City Council approved the ordinance, which prohibits any form of panhandling in specific areas, with a distance of 20 feet considered a buffer that would create a sort of comfort zone for citizens. Full Text
